ASA Physical Status Classification System (ASA House of Delegates 2014, last amended 2020). Caller-assigned class 1-6 plus optional emergency suffix E. Returns asa_label (e.g. 1 or 2E) and the published class definition. Classification alone does not predict perioperative risk. Not an anesthetic plan, not Gupta MICA, not Mallampati. magent does not examine the patient.
