Adult maximum normal erythrocyte sedimentation rate (mm/h, 98th percentile approximation) from age and sex (Miller 1983). Men: age/2. Women: (age + 10)/2. Deterministic published arithmetic with citation. Returns the threshold only; not a diagnosis, not a measured ESR, and not Wener 2000 CRP. magent does not measure ESR.
