sPESI (simplified Pulmonary Embolism Severity Index) from Jiménez 2010: 1 point each for age >80, cancer, chronic cardiopulmonary disease (one combined item), heart rate ≥110, systolic BP <100 mm Hg, and SpO2 <90%; max 6. Score 0 is low risk; ≥1 is high risk. Only for already diagnosed acute PE as in the paper. Not a diagnosis, not an outpatient-treatment protocol, and not original PESI classes.
