CDC/HICPAC surgical wound classification Class I-IV as assigned by the caller (Mangram 1999 Table 7). Returns wound_class, class_label (e.g. I/Clean), and the published Table 7 description. magent does not inspect the wound. Not SSI percentage rates (not in Table 7). Not a diagnosis of infection. Not antimicrobial prophylaxis selection. Not a medical device.
